Peak District – The Derwent Valley Heritage Way

The Derwent Valley Heritage Way is a 55 mile route tracing the course of the River Derwent from Heatherdene to Derwent Mouth. The river begins up at Swaines Greave near Bleaklow and then flows down in to the chain of reservoirs in the Upper Derwent Valley. It flows in to Howden, Derwent and then Ladybower before emerging to meander south towards Derby. Cromford Canal – Cromford to Langley Mill – History Walks

Cromford Wharf This is the first video in a series i'm going to call History Walks, this instalment sees me walk the entire length of what was once the Cromford Canal in Derbyshire. The Canal once stretched some 14.5 miles from Cromford in the Derwent Valley to Langley Mill in the Erewash Valley. Peak District – MTB & GoPro – High Peak Trail

This is a rather large video of a great ride along the High Peak Trail on a glorious sunny day. I was armed with my GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition and I managed to capture some of the highlights along the way. We started at the High Peak Junction and cycled to the northern end and then back.
